Zoho, uh oh
Maybe it's the computer; I don't know, but I keep getting an error when I try to open Zoho Writer. I was all ready to post a blog using this app., but it wouldn't let me in--hmmm. Guess I'll try later. Is this a potential problem for web-based apps?
Playing in the Sand
OK, I added my blog to the general blogs in the plcmclearning wiki. Yea. Now I get to explore the categories there.
Not so Wiki
While learning about Wikis, which are supposed to be fast, I found myself getting bogged down. I finally read an article by Emma Tonkin under other Wiki examples that explained the purpose, accessibility, etc. of a Wiki. I can see where they might be useful for brainstorming or lab writeups, but the editing factor could be at once helpful or dangerous. If I used them in a classroom, they would definitely need to be closely monitored.

Library 2.0
Wow, there's a lot of verbage about Library 2.0. At first I found it daunting trying to wade through it all. Even in Wikipedia it seemed jumbled. Finally, in Rick Anderson's "Away from the Icebergs" the purpose for this movement came to light in a succinct manner. He made it accessible, and isn't that what 2.0 is supposed to be about?

Delicious
At first glance I didn't think that I would use this tool, however, thanks to Susan W., she extolled the virtues of this as a way of looking at my favorites from anywhere in the world. And I thought only chocolate, Parisian croissants, filet mignon, ok, food in general was delicious.
Rollyo
Yea! I was finally able to find a name for my search engine that wasn't already used. Here it is:
